Welcome to our home. Finca Telereta is a family project where we take care of every detail, from the land until it reaches your hands. We invite you to discover the unmistakable flavour of our homegrown pistachios, the tenderness of our pasture-raised meats, and the tradition of our legumes. A way of eating that is more conscious, sustainable, and above all, full of flavour.
With our pistachios, we want to promote products as they come straight from the field, just as they are after the harvest. That is why we do not toast or salt our pistachios; instead, we offer them in their natural state, enhancing the original flavour of the pistachio and giving each of you the opportunity to consume them naturally or transform them into your own project, writing your own story with them.
With our products, we want to promote the essence of our land, just as they result from careful and respectful work, in collaboration with our local partners. That is why we do not add unnecessary preservatives or additives; instead, we offer the product in its purest state, enhancing the original flavour and giving each of you the opportunity to consume it in its essence or transform it into your own culinary project, writing your own story in the kitchen with it.
We are located in Parada de Rubiales, a small village in the Armuña region of Salamanca. The 10-hectare plantation is made up of almost 4,000 pistachio trees of the Kerman (female) and Peter (male) varieties, all grafted onto the UCB-1 rootstock and placed in a 5×5 meter planting grid.
In our plantation, we apply only the essential and necessary phytosanitary treatments. We do not use any herbicides and apply comprehensive treatments of other phytosanitary products (fungicides, insecticides) only when strictly necessary. Thanks to this, our farm, besides being a large pistachio grove, is a haven for wild flora and fauna: hares, partridges, rabbits, and other animals that we also see and care for throughout the year.
We work with our fellow farmers and ranchers in the area to promote our products at a local and national level, so that everyone who wants a piece of our origin can obtain it, while fighting for fair prices and the respect that our primary sector deserves. Soon, in our shop you will be able to purchase products from the area, from our partners, because the unity of the agricultural sector is what will help us prosper and achieve fair prices for everyone.
